Hostel Facilities
Stellenbosch Campus is centrally located and within walking distance of the town’s CBD. The campus has two female and one male hostel. These three hostels are close to the main building where all lectures take place. Approximately 400 students make use of this accommodation. Students in hostels partake in most activities of the Stellenbosch University (US), such as the Carnival weekend, “Vensters”, First-year athletics and the renowned Trolley race.

Kolonieshof Men’s Hostel
Kolonieshof offers accommodation to 107 male students. Most rooms cater for two students and each has a bed and mattress, a wardrobe, curtains, a desk, a chair and a bookcase. Hostel students have access to laundry facilities, pay-phones, DSTV, a video recorder, a lounge with a fireplace and there is a fridge in each section.

Denneoord Women’s Hostel
Denneoord offers accommodation to 186 female students. Most rooms cater for two students. A few single rooms are available for House Committee members. The rooms each have a bed and mattress, wardrobe, curtains, desk, chair and a bookcase. Hostel students have access to laundry facilities, public telephones, DSTV, a video recorder and two lounges, one with a fireplace. Student also has access to braai facilities.

Hostel Fees
Applying at Boland College Caledon Campus for Hostel Accommodation
Step by Step guide to ensure a successful application:
Step 1
Download/Collect and complete Hostel Application Form
Attach the Hostel Application form with the following documents and payment with your application form
- College Application form
- Certified copy of identification document (ID)
- Certified copy of senior certificate or highest qualification
- R 100 non refundable application fee.
Go to the campus and hand in you application form at the Application Administrator
Step 2
You will be notified of acknowledgement of application received via a letter from the College.
Step 3
To secure your place in the Hostel deposit fee must be paid. The amount is determined by each individual campus.
