Open Learning Centres

Open Learning Centres (OLC's) are all part of an all inclusive project to combine conventional learning & teaching with new technology.

To be successful the learner has to understand that progress will only occur through Life Long Learning. The OLC should form the focus and drive of this process.

The OLC consist of the following facilities:

• Internet Café
• Media Centre
• Fax, copy and printing facilities
• Laminating and binding
• IT support for lecturers, students and the public
• Placement testing Centre

The OLC should be a place where you can come to study, relax and still have fun.  The goal is to get students to visit the OLC daily and make it a information hive where everybody is welcome and chances are you'll learn something new while having fun.
