Can I apply for a bursary or student loan at Boland College?

Yes, if you are enrolled into a course at any one of our five campuses and meet the qualifying criteria for bursary application.

What is the qualifying criteria for a bursary?

The following determine for which bursary you qualify for or not:

1. If you've enrolled in one of our Post Matric at one of our campuses then you can apply for the Boland FET College: Ikapa Elihlumayo Bursary Scheme, if you:

• Between the age of 16 to 35 years of age
• Your annual (year) income do not exceed more than R100, 000
• You have previously excelled academically

2. If you have enrolled in one of our National Certificate Vocational (NCV) Programmes at one of our campuses then you can apply for the Boland FET College and DHET FET College Bursary Scheme, if you:

• You must have passed your Grade 10
• You must participate in the CAP- and NSFAS "means test"
• You must achieve a minimum of 75% Mathematics and Literacy test result
