Computerised Financial Systems Pastel N4

Purpose

• Empowering the students with the necessary practical skills, theoretical knowledge and experience to enable them to fulfil their potential in a financial working environment.

Who should do the programme?

• Those who have performed an Accounting and/or Bookkeeping function in their organization for same time without a formal Qualification in Accounting.
• Those who were previously disadvantaged and who were unable to continue their learning in Further Education Band.
• Those who have recently taken up a position as a support staff member in an Accounting section of a medium to large organization.
• Those who have not acquired the skills and competencies for learning as Technical Financial Accountants.
• Those who have passed grade 12.
• Those who have knowledge of accounting and computer literacy who wish to work / apply for a financial position within a company.

• Opening of company books
• Create debtors and creditors
• Create General Ledger Accounts
• Balances
• Tax invoices and Credit notes
• Cashbook
• Bank recon
• Financial Statements

Price and duration

• 14 weeks
• Part-time one evening per  week  from 18:00 - 20:30
• R1400 + R150 (Registration Fee)

• Boland College (Depending on minimum enrolment of 12 learners per group.
