Boland College underwent their first surveillance audit on 20 July 2010 where no mayor non-conformances were found which resulted in the College retaining its SABS ISO 9001:2008 certification. During this audit 4 processes at the Head Office in Stellenbosch and 2 other processes at the Paarl Campus were audited.
This audit will take place for 2 years after the institution has been awarded SABS certification. The processes Marketing & Corporate Communication, Human Resources, Skills Development and Quality Management were audited at the Head Office along with Student Administration and Education and Training at the Boland College Paarl Campus.
“Quality is, and will remain our main priority in servicing our community through education and training” says Johanna Coetzee, Boland College Quality Manager.
Boland College was the first Public FET College in the Western Cape to have been awarded SABS certification in 2009 and yet again is the first to have undergone this surveillance audit that has been passed with flying colours.
“We once again proved that we are the benchmark for FET Colleges and other educational institutions in the Western Cape. We will continue to do so in every aspect of our service delivery,” says Jandré Bakker, Manager: Marketing & Corporate Communication.
Boland College congratulates all the participating process owners on this achievement and wishes them well in their pursuit of excellence and quality in servicing the Boland community.
